The KM Drama Department will be having auditions for A Lighter Shade of Noir TODAY and TOMORROW from 3-5 in the High School Forum Room.  Any KM student in grades 5-8 is welcome to audition.

Thursday, December 14th is the 7th and 8th grade choir concert.  They will be performing along with 9-12 grades at the MN WiFi Performing Arts Center.  Should be a terrific show.  Show begins at 7:00...hope to see you there!

Students when you leave at the end of the day please make sure your locker is closed.  Custodians are unable to run the scrubber with them open.  Thank you for your help with this.

Happy National Noodle Ring Day!

I am so excited for our LIVE DRAWING of Excellence tickets. Drum roll please..the winners are: Morgan Blair and Liz Johnson. Please come down to the office before the end of the day to pick out your prize. Congratulations to you both! Remember you earn these Excellence tickets from staff members for showing respectful, responsible, and safe behaviors. Next drawing will be next Monday.

The KM Drama Department will be having auditions for A Lighter Shade of Noir TOMORROW and Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 3-5 in the High School Forum Room.  

Lunch announcement for all students in grades 7 and 8. Starting today, we are trying something new. 7th graders will be dismissed at 12:07 for lunch. All 7th graders will eat first. 8th graders will be dismissed at 12:09 and you will go directly into the gym. We will switch half way through lunch-at that time 7th grade will go into the gym and 8th grade will eat lunch. By making this change, all 7th and 8th graders will have gym everyday. We will have a divider in the gym so if you prefer to sit and chill with friends or play on your devices, you still can do that. Both 7th and 8th will be dismissed back to class at the same time, 12:39.This is NEW to all of us, let’s give it a try. Please let me know if you have any questions.

The week of the 18th Student Council will be selling hot chocolate for $1 before school in the commons.  Get toppings for another dollar.  All proceeds go to Toys for Tots for Dodge County.  
Student Council will also be selling candy canes Monday-Wednesday that week.  Send a candy cane to a friend for $1.  Keep in mind, you must know which advisory your friend is in before you buy it!  Candy canes will be delivered next Thursday during advisory.  Treat yourself and others this holiday season!  

Also, Ugly Sweater Day for staff and students will be held on Friday, December 22nd.

The K-M Annual Silent ART Auction will be TOMORROW in the K-M High School Commons from 3:00 PM until 15 minutes after the HS band Christmas concert ends.  Proceeds will be used as scholarship money. THANK YOU for your support!
